The Adult Institute for Jewish Studies is a collaboration between local area synagogues. Join us to broaden your Jewish education.
Classes Offered
Beginning Hebrew: Rena Klein is teaching beginning Hebrew reading on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. We have two groups, one starting with Alef Bet and the other reading from the prayer book. Contact Rena for more information at renak64@gmail.com.
Shul Shy: Going over the Shabbat morning prayerbook page by page on Tuesdays at 8:15-9:15 pm. We will deliver into the meaning of prayers as well as the choreography of the service.
Parshat HaShavua: The Rabbi discusses the upcoming week’s Torah portion in the JJC library every Wednesday from 11:00 am – Noon.
