J-Life is an experiential Hebrew high school program where students from 5 congregations join together to do hesed (community service) projects, learn from community activists about their work, and get to know one another. J-Life believes in strength in numbers: that by conservative synagogues on the north shore of Long Island joining together, we can make a greater impact. J-Life has received grants from the Jewish Education Project for its work in bringing together teens from multiple conservative congregations. J-Life’s theme this year is “Pay It Forward”.
